Attorney​/Lawyer

Description We are looking for an experienced Attorney/Lawyer to join a leading manufacturing company based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This position involves handling mergers and acquisitions (M&

A) transactions, including global deals, and collaborating with external counsel to ensure cost-effective management. This is a long-term contract role that offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-impact projects within the corporate legal domain.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage M& A transactions, with a focus on acquisitions rather than sales.

- Conduct thorough reviews of organizational documents and distribute them efficiently among attorneys.

- Collaborate with external legal firms to control costs and ensure effective case handling.

- Provide support on antitrust matters related to sales-side activities when required.

- Draft and review non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) and other corporate legal documents.

- Ensure compliance with corporate policies and legal standards in all transaction processes.

- Manage global M& A deals, providing expertise and guidance throughout the legal process.

- Work closely with internal teams and external counsel to streamline legal operations.

- Offer strategic advice on corporate transactions, emphasizing risk mitigation and legal compliance. Requirements - Proven experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&

A) transactions.

- Strong background in corporate and commercial law.

- Familiarity with drafting and reviewing NDAs and other legal agreements.

- Experience working with external legal counsel and managing firm relationships.

- Knowledge of antitrust law and its application to sales-side transactions.

- Demonstrated attention to detail in a corporate legal setting or large law firm.

- Ability to handle global legal transactions and navigate international legal complexities.

The pay range for this position is $85 to $95. Benefits available to contract/contract professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance. Hired contract/contract professionals are also eligible to enroll in our company 401(k) plan. Visit  for more information.
