Corporate Lawyer

A premium national law firm are looking to onboard an established Corporate Associate into their Milwaukee office location.

The Corporate team focus on the middle market, serving a diverse client base, both public and privately held, domestic and international, ranging from early-stage venture capital backed companies to strategic and private equity companies to family-owned businesses. Their clientele clients operate in a wide variety of industries and markets, from legacy institutions in manufacturing, technology, financial services, food and beverage and health care, to emerging industries such as craft distilling and biotechnology.

• A minimum of two years’ experience in a law firm setting.
• Experience in handling complex corporate work including mergers & acquisitions, private equity transactions and general business counseling, including experience with reviewing and drafting commercial contracts
• Experience drafting documents for mergers and acquisitions and conducting detailed due diligence.
• Experience advising on a wide range of corporate, joint venture and commercial transactions.
• Mid to large law firm M&A experience is preferred but not required.
• Excellent academic background, superior organisational, drafting, and analytical skills, and outstanding interpersonal abilities.
• Proven transaction management ability.
• License to practice in Wisconsin or eligibility to waive into WI Bar.
