Law Clerk - Combined Courts Hourly Salary Range: $25.37 - $38.03The Law Clerk opportunity is a full‑time Milwaukee County benefitted position

Job Summary:
The Law Clerk provides legal research and drafts legal memoranda, orders and decisions for circuit court judges. The major objective is to ensure that circuit court judges issue rulings, orders and decisions efficiently and effectively.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Perform legal research and draft legal memoranda, orders and decisions for circuit court judges to review and sign.
- Assist the circuit court judges by acting as bailiff. Bring up juries and monitor jury deliberations.
- Perform similar tasks on an as-needed basis.
Required:
- Professional Law degree
