Supply Chain Data & Operations Analyst

Turn complex logistics data into clear, actionable insights that keep products moving efficiently. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who enjoys working with data, solving operational challenges, and collaborating across teams to improve supply chain performance.

If you’re energized by analyzing trends, ensuring data accuracy, and contributing to real-world logistics execution, this opportunity offers a strong foundation to grow within supply chain operations and analytics.

Role Overview

In this hybrid role, you will support transportation, supply planning, and customer operations by managing critical data inputs, validating system integrity, and delivering insights that enhance service levels and operational efficiency. You will work across enterprise systems, logistics platforms, and reporting tools to ensure smooth execution across domestic and cross-border supply chains.

This position combines analytical thinking with hands‑on operational support, offering exposure to end‑to‑end supply chain processes.

What You’ll Do Data Monitoring & Validation

Track shipment, inventory, and planning data to ensure accuracy across systems. Identify inconsistencies and escalate issues with clear context and recommended actions.

Operational Analysis

Work with large datasets to uncover trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement across transportation and supply planning functions.

Reporting & Insights

Develop recurring and ad-hoc reports that translate complex operational data into meaningful insights for stakeholders.

Transportation Support

Assist with execution of domestic and cross-border shipments by validating data, monitoring shipment progress, and supporting timely coordination with logistics partners.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with customer service, planning teams, and logistics providers to resolve issues, prevent service disruptions, and improve overall network performance.

System Operations

Support key planning and execution systems by maintaining accurate inputs, running transactions, and troubleshooting discrepancies in collaboration with technical teams.

Financial Visibility

Assist in tracking transportation and warehousing costs, helping ensure alignment with budget targets and identifying cost‑saving opportunities.

Process Documentation

Contribute to the development and maintenance of workflows, data definitions, and operational guidelines to improve consistency and knowledge sharing.

What You Bring Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Analytics, Logistics, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience. Typically 2–5 years of relevant experience or exposure through internships or coursework.

Analytical Skills

Strong ability to work with large datasets, identify patterns, and draw meaningful conclusions.

Technical Proficiency

Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, nested formulas) with the ability to quickly learn enterprise systems and data tools.

Systems Aptitude

Comfort navigating complex platforms related to supply chain planning, transportation, and reporting.

Communication

Ability to clearly explain data insights and collaborate effectively across both technical and non-technical teams.

Work Ethic

Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven environment.

Preferred Experience
  • Exposure to supply chain planning or transportation operations, including shipment coordination and planning processes.
  • Experience with enterprise systems or data platforms used in logistics and planning environments.
  • Familiarity with reporting or visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar technologies.
  • Understanding of supply chain cost drivers, performance metrics, or network optimization concepts.
  • Experience working with third‑party logistics providers, carriers, or warehouse operations.
  • Interest in process improvement, automation, or data validation methodologies.
Work Environment

This role follows a hybrid schedule, with in‑office collaboration during the majority of the week and remote flexibility on designated days. It offers a balance of independent analytical work and cross-functional teamwork in a dynamic operational setting.

Why This Role

This is an excellent opportunity to build a strong foundation in supply chain operations while developing advanced analytical and systems skills. You’ll gain exposure to transportation, planning, and logistics processes while contributing directly to improving efficiency, service levels, and cost performance.

If you’re looking to grow your career in supply chain analytics and operations, this role provides both hands‑on experience and meaningful impact.
