What You’ll Do
This role sits at the center of our sales and project teams: you’ll create accurate, competitive, and beautifully presented budgets and proposals that help us win automotive showroom projects.
- Lead the production team responsible for outsourcing manufacturing of fixtures and printed materials.
- Estimate, select suppliers, ensure quality assurance, on‑time delivery, and manage budgets across projects of varied complexity.
- Collaborate closely with sales, design, project management, installation, logistics, and client relations to meet budget, schedule, and quality targets.
- Act as a technical resource: address and resolve inquiries and problems for team members.
- Provide training, mentorship, and development for department team members and manage employees.
- Maintain supplier base: build relationships with key suppliers, resolve grievances, claims, conflicts, and quality issues.
- Oversee production and estimating: determine total cost, quality, warranty, and on‑time delivery; estimate costs of fixtures, tooling, overhead, supplier costs, margins, packaging, quantities; prepare final quotes to meet timeline and budget.
- Serve as a resource on materials, estimates, scheduling, and production needs; work cross‑functionally to ensure timely deliverables.
- Develop and track KPIs, driving continuous improvement.
- 10+ years of related experience and a bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, manufacturing (preferred).
- Knowledge and understanding of the manufacturing of retail fixtures and point‑of‑purchase displays.
- Effective communication across multi‑functional teams and suppliers.
- Familiarity with a variety of manufacturing processes, printing, and related materials.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
- Strong negotiation, written and oral communication skills.
- Passionate, energetic, and engaging; self‑motivated ownership of work.
- 10–20% travel may be required.
- Organized, detail‑oriented, good follow‑up skills.
- Effective problem‑solving skills.
- Demonstrated leadership across a wide spectrum of teams and situations; high aptitude for mentoring.
