Salary Range: $75,000.00 To $85,000.00 Annually
We are seeking a dedicated Buyer to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for executing procurement and sourcing activities that support new product launches and ongoing production. You will manage supplier relationships, drive cost savings, and ensure materials are delivered on time, at the right quality, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end procurement activities for assigned programs, including sourcing, RFQs, supplier selection, and purchase order management
- Support new product launches (NPI) by ensuring materials meet quality, cost, and timeline expectations
- Maintain strong supplier relationships, including contract negotiations, performance management, and issue resolution
- Drive cost reduction initiatives (PO-to-PO savings, rebates, and value engineering opportunities) aligned with fiscal year targets
- Analyze and support Make vs. Buy decisions in collaboration with engineering and operations teams
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, VA/VE, standardization efforts)
- Ensure on-time delivery, quality, and cost performance of all purchased goods and services
- Monitor and improve working capital through effective payment terms and inventory strategies
- Support change management activities, including engineering changes and supplier transitions
- Track and report key procurement KPIs and performance metrics
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
Experience and Training:
- 2–6 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment
- Experience managing suppliers, RFQs, and contract negotiations
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.); ERP system experience is a plus
