We are seeking a Vice President of Global Sourcing and Supply to join our team and help drive our continued success. This role plays an important part in supporting our customers, strengthening our business, and contributing to the long-term growth of Douglas Dynamics.

The Vice President of Global Sourcing and Supply provides strategic and operational leadership for the divisional Global Sourcing and Supply (GSS) function. This role develops and executes sourcing, supplier performance, logistics, inventory, and supply chain improvement strategies that support business growth, operational performance, cost competitiveness, quality, delivery, and risk mitigation.

As a member of the Business Leadership Team (BLT), this position partners with Operations, Engineering, Finance, Quality, Sales, and enterprise GSS leadership to ensure the supply base is a strategic competitive advantage. The role is accountable for building a right-sized, resilient supplier network, driving continuous improvement and lean supply chain practices, developing talent, and ensuring ethical, compliant, and professional supplier management practices.

Strategic Leadership and Business Alignment

Lead the divisional GSS strategy and align priorities with the divisional strategic business plan, enterprise GSS initiatives, and operational performance objectives.

Participate in annual strategy development, department budgeting, capital planning, and scorecard/SD metric alignment.

Serve as an active member of the DDI GSS leadership team and align divisional goals with broader company sourcing and supply chain priorities.

Use data, business intelligence, and cross-functional input to identify risks, opportunities, trends, and performance gaps across the supply chain.

Sourcing, Category Management, and Supplier Strategy

Define the optimal supply chain size, supplier segmentation, and key performance indicators needed to support the business while reducing disruption risk.
