We are seeking a hands-on Supply Chain Manager to take ownership of the company’s supply chain and materials management functions. This role will oversee sourcing, procurement, supplier management, materials planning, inventory, purchasing, receiving, stockroom operations, and material flow.
The ideal candidate will have strong manufacturing experience and understand how supply chain decisions directly impact production, quality, delivery, and customer commitments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead sourcing, procurement, purchasing, and supplier negotiations
- Manage supplier relationships, performance, quality, cost, and delivery
- Oversee materials planning and inventory management
- Manage receiving, stockroom operations, and overall material flow
- Lead, coach, and develop the supply chain team
- Monitor inventory levels, costs, shortages, quality, and delivery performance
- Develop contingency plans for supply disruptions and material shortages
- Partner closely with Production, Quality, Engineering, Sales, and other departments
- Ensure materials are available to meet production schedules and customer commitments
- Identify opportunities to improve supply chain performance and efficiency
Must-Haves:
- 5+ years of progressive supply chain, procurement, materials management, or related experience
- Strong manufacturing experience
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of procurement, purchasing, materials planning, inventory management, and supplier management
- ERP system experience
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field, or equivalent experience
