The Industrial Electrician is a (first) shift union position responsible for planning and performing installations of die cast, punch press and plating equipment, PLC troubleshooting and programming and troubleshooting to the electronic component level. Also responsible for the diagnosis of malfunctions and repair of complex electronic equipment control systems and other types of computer and microprocessor based requipment. Perform assigned duties with little or no supervision or instructions.

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably a die cast plant. Must have experience with PLC troubleshooting and programming as well as basic circuit troubleshooting. Must be able to interpret schematics/prints. Must be able to read ladder logic for troubleshooting and be familiar with SLC
  500 and RS logics.
• Must have a positive work history, be able to work unsupervised and be a team player.
• 3 plus years or an electrical apprenticeship preferred.
