OverviewAs a Service Technician, you are a key team member supporting field operations and contributing to the day-to-day contract operations. You will interact with customers and teammates to manage a variety of situations and project a professional company image both in-person and by phone.
Responsibilities- Driving company vehicles with trailers
- Read and understand maps and directions
- Work with a team
- Communicate with customers about scope of work and review necessary paperwork
- Establish and maintain a schedule to ensure services are delivered in a timely manner
- Learn and participate in performing:
- Water restoration
- Mold remediation
- Trauma scene cleaning
- Smoke & fire damage restoration
- Carpet & upholstery cleaning
- Content cleaning
- Lead remediation
- Boardup & tarp over services
- Commercial grass cutting & snow removal
- Property maintenance
- Construction projects
- Respond to jobs and initiate work according to IICRC standards and Rainbow Restoration's internal processes
- Maintain company assets (equipment, vehicles, etc.) in a clean, properly maintained, and fully stocked condition
- Perform marketing tasks to sell additional services or develop business as required
- Perform other duties as required; duties may extend beyond normal scope
- We are a 24-hour emergency service company; all team members are on-call and must respond as needed
- Valid Driver's License
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Team player who can also work independently
- Smartphone and tablet literacy; working knowledge of word processing and business software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook) and other software; ability to learn new software
- Experience with Xactware is helpful but not required
- Restoration and construction experience is helpful but not required
- Able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
- Willing to train supporting team members
- Career-minded mentality for future positions/ownership
- Starting compensation depends on certifications and experience:
Service Technician (entry level): $14-$15 per hour;
Field Operations Manager: $22+ per hour;
Project Manager: $22+ per hour - Company benefits include Health Insurance, Vision Insurance, PTO, Tuition Reimbursement, and Bonuses (Business Development and Performance)
