Director of Environment, Health & Safety (EHS)

A well-established manufacturing company is looking for a dynamic and proactive Director of EHS to oversee and advance safety and environmental programs across multiple Wisconsin facilities. This role offers the chance to play a key leadership role in shaping a strong, sustainable safety culture across a network of three production sites.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and evolve EHS strategy across multiple sites with a focus on continuous improvement and best-in-class safety standards
• Champion a zero-injury culture through proactive coaching, employee engagement, and safety program development
• Manage a team of EHS professionals and collaborate with cross-functional site leaders to embed safety as a core business value
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory bodies
• Oversee workers’ comp, environmental reporting, incident investigations, and root cause analyses
• Contribute to capital planning and support the safe implementation of new processes and equipment

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of progressive EHS leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proven track record of driving cultural change and leading high-performing teams
• Strong command of EHS regulations and industry best practices
• A collaborative and influential leadership style
• Bachelor’s degree in occupational/environmental health & safety or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
