Purpose of the Job

Responsible for assisting, directing, establishing, promoting, and maintaining specific programs and initiatives within designated customer/account base. Works with and directs the activities of various Project Managers who are supporting customer projects. Overall customer management of invested businesses, including both sales and operations activities. Effectively assist customers’ operational strategies to achieve timely and cost-effective solutions. Maximize communications, job planning and service delivery to achieve customer satisfaction goals.

Director of Programs

• Manages, oversees, and coordinates all aspects of specific program/initiative for a key customer or account including, but not limited to: operations planning, scheduling, execution, monitoring and controlling costs, cash flow, installation quality, project close-out, qualifying potential business solutions, and operational review of proposals.
• Overall responsibility for review of contracts; indirect supervision of labor and subcontractors; planning and scheduling of installations mindful of customer’s timelines and milestones, review of invoices, and assist in collections. Leverages technology to design processes that ensure compliance with state, federal, and international regulatory requirements.
• Develops and implements operations and sales strategies that improve execution and provide additional value to customers in a cost effective manner. Develops policies and procedures relating to customer’s specific programs and systems. Utilizes financial systems to review actual versus estimated contract cost and to provide timely and accurate financial reports. Updates Project and Service Playbooks as required.
• Proactively communicates with and seek feedback from all customers. Drives outstanding customer value and loyalty. Seeks to continuously improve customer satisfaction.
• Identifies potential project risks and develops/implements strategies to minimize impact and control deviations from estimated costs and project deadlines. Evaluates current systems for cost reduction and product improvement.
• Effectively communicates goals to the Team and communicates with the wider organization (business development, service, operations) as and when required. Maintains accurate and up to date job cost records, and other control records necessary for processing of internal and external reports. Serves as a technical resource for the assigned Project Manager throughout design, approval, material procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Overall responsibility for customer satisfaction on all installed accounts. Regularly meets with customers to ensure that we are providing quality installations and meeting their individual needs. Conducts follow-up reviews of solutions to verify that desired objectives were accomplished effectively and efficiently. Primary point of contact and customer advocate for assigned customer/account; liaison between the Corporate/Field Customers and the Integrator’s field offices.
• Conducts site surveys, detailed written project scopes, budget estimates, installation drawings, and device submittals for each phase of a large scale capital project.
• Assists in the analysis and documentation of the feasibility of technology solutions for a specific customer program or initiative by taking into account analysis, design, testing, cost, operational requirements, and risk management. Reviews modification of existing hardware and software.
