We are looking for a dynamic Leasing Manager.The Leasing Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing the leasing function across the organization’s portfolio. This role manages the Leasing Agent(s) and Leasing Support staff, driving performance through data, process, and team development. The Director sets leasing strategy, ensures consistency in lead handling and tenant qualification, and partners closely with Property Management and Marketing to ensure occupancy goals are met.

This is a performance-focused leadership role with an emphasis on operational efficiency, team coaching, and market responsiveness.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the full leasing pipeline including lead response, showings, applicant screening, and lease execution.
  • Manage and coach Leasing Agents and Support staff to ensure excellent customer service and conversion performance.
  • Analyze leasing metrics and market trends to adjust pricing, concessions, and marketing strategies.
  • Build and maintain standardized leasing workflows, scripts, and best practices across the team.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Property Management to ensure listing quality, lead flow, and unit readiness align with leasing goals.
  • Lead hiring, training, and performance reviews for all leasing team members.
  • 10% Business Development responsibilities
  • Proactive reach out to absentee property owners
  • Lead creation for Lease Only properties
  • Networking events on behalf of the company
  • Collaborate and back up current Business Development Manager
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in residential leasing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of Fair Housing laws and tenant screening procedures.
  • Familiarity with leasing and property management platforms (e.g., App Folio, Lead Simple, Show Mojo).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in a remote or hybrid environment.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience tracking and improving leasing KPIs.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
