Social Development Manager – Youth Mentor

• Direct staff providing residential and recreation services for all students
• Ensure programs and standards meet all DOL, PRH, Center, and corporate requirements
• Supervise the recreation manager/supervisor and residential supervisors
• Conduct applicant interviews, trainings, staff meetings, supervisor meetings, student meetings, evaluations, and individual coaching sessions
• Ensure required training, evaluations, and final documentation are completed on schedule
• Collaborate with the wellness department on student medical and mental health processes
• Maintain continuous, documented communication about critical student information across shifts and program staff
• Enforce organization, cleanliness, and sanitation through regular inspections and accountability documentation
• Encourage staff engagement, monitoring, and mentoring of students
• Develop leadership programs and student leadership opportunities, training, development, and incentives
• Maintain student accountability through room and area checks, student checks, nightly reports, and daily reports to the student records office
• Perform other duties within the individual's scope and capabilities

• Strong management and leadership skills required
• One year's supervisory experience required
• Two years' experience working with youth
• Post-secondary degree and two years' experience working with youth
• Bachelor's degree in social services or related field preferred
• Valid State Drivers' License
• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
• Ability to perform essential functions with reasonable accommodations, where applicable

Demonstrates strong management and leadership capabilities, with a focus on supervising staff and ensuring compliance with organizational standards. Experienced in developing training programs and maintaining effective communication regarding student welfare and accountability.
