Position Overview:

The Director of Adult Day Care provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for Adult Day Care programs. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this key leadership role oversees high-quality client care, regulatory compliance, program operations, client discharges, staffing, and a team of nurses, CNAs, PCWs, intake, training, and activities staff.

This position calls for a hands-on, people centered leader who can strengthen programs, build high performing teams, and effectively balance the needs of employees, clients, and families. The Director will work closely with executive leadership to promote quality, consistency, and a positive care environment while supporting the physical, emotional, recreational, and social well-being of those we serve.

Ensure all programs operate in compliance with state, federal, and local regulations and St. Ann Center policies, while meeting the spiritual, emotional, recreational, and social needs of clients.

Oversee daily supervision and delegated responsibilities of the Lead Supervisor/Director.

Collaborate with the Chief Operating Officer to review and improve programs, policies, procedures, and job descriptions.

Complete and submit required operational reports and documentation to executive leadership.

Staffing, Scheduling & Workforce Management Oversee staff scheduling, assignments, and coverage, including call-ins, schedule changes, and two-person assist services.

Approve timekeeping, time-off requests, and temporary staffing documentation; maintain accurate weekly payroll records.

Lead staffing processes, including interviews, onboarding, orientation, and required training completion.

Provide staff coaching, mentoring, corrective action, performance documentation, and hands-on unit support as needed.

Client Care Coordination & Case Management Direct Adult Services program delivery and client coordination, including admissions, care planning, and discharges.

Lead weekly care plan and Individual Service Plan (ISP) reviews in collaboration with program staff.

Ensure timely implementation of nursing orders and coordinated case management with Social Workers.

Address and resolve client, caregiver, and staff concerns.

Develop and oversee Personal Hygiene services for Day Care and À La Carte clients.
