Overview

Stryten Energy manufactures proprietary and custom injection molding products serving the industrial lead battery, automotive and consumer markets. Stryten Energy is expanding battery poly manufacturing and recycling output to help solve industry-wide supply constraints.

This is a 2nd shift opening:
Monday - Friday; 2pm - 10pm

Pay rate = $20.12 plus $1.10/hour shift differential

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for maintaining operational readiness and maximizing the production efficiency of the Cold Form Press Lines and Extrusion Line production equipment. This includes making production parts, basic troubleshooting, and basic repairs to Cold Form equipment on these production lines.
  • Maintain established quality standards as required by Stryten Energy and customer needs.
  • Maximize production efficiency of the Cold Form Presses and Extrusion production lines.
  • Ensure compliance with quality control requirements of all parts made on the Cold Form Press and Extrusion production lines.
  • Tooling changeover of production parts on the Extrusion production lines while minimizing downtime of the line.
  • Complete all required production and quality control daily paperwork.
  • Communicate with Cold Form Technicians, Cold Form Tool and Machine repair personnel, Cold Form Manufacturing Engineer, and Cold Form Manager when problems and issues with production arise.
  • Communicate verbally and/or in writing with incoming or preceding personnel on status of equipment, parts, manufacturing or quality problems.
  • Train new or backup Cold Form Operators.
  • Complete preventative maintenance tasks as assigned by the Cold Form Manager.
  • Report unsafe conditions to the Supervisor for immediate action.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervision based on production requirements.
Qualifications
  • Ten (10) grade reading, addition, division, fractions, decimals, and communications skills.
  • Motivated self-starter; works well with others and without supervision; professional in all daily work.
  • Proven satisfactory work history (attendance and performance).
  • Attendance is critical to this position.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering blueprints (training provided).
  • Ability to function well in a team environment and communicate effectively.
  • Willingness to take instructions from Cold Form Technician I and/or II on operational issues.
  • Basic mechanical skills and ability to use basic hand tools.
  • Proficient and accurate use of Go/No-Go gauges.
  • Ability to maintain efficient operation of the Cold Form Press Lines and Extrusion and Casting Lines to manufacture quality parts at standard rates.
  • Ability to set up the Casting and Extrusion Lines for different production parts, including installation of extrusion tooling.
  • Must have completed forklift driver training program.
  • Must be able to handle work involving 25 lbs. minimum.
  • Flexibility and readiness for innovations to move the company forward.
  • Must have own hand tools as determined by Manager, Cold Form.
  • Qualifications must be gained six (6) months after training has begun in any skill offered.
