Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Milwaukee, WI, for a skilled Cabinetmaker. The selected candidate will be responsible for crafting, assembling, and finishing custom architectural woodwork and cabinets. Key responsibilities include interpreting technical drawings, measuring and cutting wood materials with precision, operating woodworking machinery, and ensuring high-quality craftsmanship. Collaboration with team members to meet project specifications and timelines is essential.

Attention to detail and adherence to safety practices are crucial.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in woodwork techniques, including cutting, shaping, and assembly of materials
  • Experience in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
  • Skilled in operating woodworking machinery, hand tools, and power tools
  • Knowledge of finishing techniques, including sanding and coating
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems during the fabrication process
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
  • Commitment to workplace safety best practices
  • Prior experience in custom architectural woodworking or cabinetry is preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or certification in woodworking is a plus
