Lakeside is currently seeking a skilled 2nd Shift Custom Assembler to join our dedicated team. This is a key role responsible for precision welding and assembly of stainless steel products that meet our high-quality standards and customer specifications.
Position Highlights- Schedule:
4-day workweek – Monday through Thursday, 10-hour shifts - Shift: 2nd Shift 3:15 pm - 1:45 am
- Shift Premium: $2.75/hour
- Overtime:
As needed, additional hours are available on Fridays - Work Environment:

- Assemble custom parts to one another by tightening nuts, bolts, screws, by riveting or spot welding parts together
- Some plumbing and electrical
- Read parts lists, blueprints, and drawings to assemble products
- Operate the computer to enter work orders and print labels
- Inspect parts and products for quality standards
Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, etc - Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations
- Maintain departmental housekeeping standards
- Requires a high school diploma/GED equivalent, plus 1-3 years related experience
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to read and comprehend blueprints.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand up to 10 hours a day.
- Vision requirements include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Exposure to Electro Magnetic Fields. EMF fields can interfere with some medical implants, including pacemakers.
