Summary: Responsible for operating fabrication machinery with some assembly and handwork.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Set up and operate machines including saws, lasers, tube benders, and CNC.
- Continuous improvements relating to learning more machines.
- Load and unload parts into machines manually or by means of mechanical lifting devices.
- Responsible for packing, stacking on skids and counting parts.
- Tags finished parts as ready to ship.
- Follow strict process inspection procedures.
- Process all necessary documentation and paperwork for processes completed.
- Perform routine maintenance and some troubleshooting when necessary.
- Follow and comply with all safety regulations, work rules, and maintain clean and orderly work area.
Requirements
Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent, one to three years' relevant experience, or equivalent combination of both preferred.

- Ability to effectively communicate with other employees of the organization.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to critically think and solve problems.
- Ability to read and understand documents such as work orders and blueprints.
- Ability to use micrometers, calipers, and other measuring devices.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.

- Frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds.
- Occasionally life or move up to 50 pounds.
- Repetitive fine motor movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists performing tasks.

- Occasional sedentary work, sitting for extended periods of time.
