Pay: $354 |
Work Schedule: 1st shift 8am to 5pm

PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the full-service fabrication industry to hire skilled Combo Welders ready to take on complex, high-impact projects in heavy industrial and shipyard environments. As a Combo Welder, you will play a critical role in the construction and fabrication of steel and aluminum structures, including vessels and other large-scale industrial components. Your craftsmanship will directly contribute to the strength, safety, and reliability of each finished product. This is more than welding—it’s precision work that supports essential industries and infrastructure.

What You’ll Do
  • Perform high-quality welding on both steel and aluminum components
  • Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to meet precise project specifications
  • Execute welding tasks in shipyard or heavy industrial construction environments
  • Utilize hand tools effectively in a production setting
  • Perform ship fitting duties as required
  • Inspect completed welds to ensure structural integrity and adherence to quality standards
  • Collaborate with team members while also working independently to meet deadlines
  • Strictly follow all safety standards and protocols without deviation
  • Travel as needed to support project demands
  • Continuously expand your skillset through ongoing training and hands‑on experience
Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Welder in a shipyard, manufacturing, or heavy industrial construction environment
  • Ability to weld both steel and aluminum
  • Shipf itting experience
  • Welding certification(s)
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem‑solving skills
  • Experience using hand tools effectively in a production setting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Unwavering commitment to workplace safety
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required
  • Previous experience in lead, supervisory, or management roles
  • Additional skills related to the construction of steel and aluminum vessels
  • A demonstrated eagerness to broaden your skillset through continued education and company‑sponsored development.

Pay Details

Pay: $34.00 per hour
