Shipping and Receiving Coordinator

A Milwaukee-based provider of electrical, mechanical, and industrial maintenance solutions is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator to run shipping, receiving, inventory, and purchasing for a high-volume industrial repair and manufacturing operation. You will be the second person in this function and a critical link between the shop floor, vendors, and finance. This is a hands‑on role inside a real manufacturing environment where accuracy, reliability, and follow‑through directly impact whether the business runs smoothly.

• Manage daily shipping and receiving of parts and materials
• Track and maintain inventory levels in the ERP system
• Place and manage purchase orders with approved vendors
• Coordinate deliveries, backorders, and material availability
• Work closely with the VP and Finance Manager on purchasing needs
• Maintain accurate inventory and receiving records
• Support the shop by moving, organizing, and staging materials
• Operate forklifts when needed (training provided)
• Help improve inventory accuracy and stock control processes

• 2+ years of supply chain, inventory, or purchasing experience
• Experience working in manufacturing or industrial environments
• Stable work history with no frequent job hopping
• Comfortable lifting 30–50 lbs. and working in a shop setting
• Strong attention to detail and follow‑through
• Basic computer skills
• Willingness to be onsite full‑time in Milwaukee
