Overview

Our client is looking for an experienced CNC Mill Programmer who enjoys taking ownership of complex machining work and making great processes even better. If you’re someone who thrives on precision, enjoys collaborating with Engineering, and takes pride in high-quality parts, this could be a great long-term fit.

This role offers the chance to work with advanced CNC equipment, influence process improvements, and be a key technical resource on the shop floor.

What You’ll Do
  • Program, set up, and operate CNC milling machines, including Mazak VTC, Mazak HMC, and WIA using Mazatrol and G-Code
  • Partner closely with Engineering on fixture design, optimization, and implementation
  • Run production jobs while performing in-process inspections and final checks
  • Identify opportunities to improve setups, streamline workflows, and reduce cycle times
  • Accurately complete quality documentation, travelers, and time reporting
  • Support Engineering and Quality teams with technical insight and troubleshooting
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work area
What We’re Looking For
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience programming and setting up CNC milling machines
  • Strong Mazatrol programming experience (highly preferred)
  • Solid understanding of GD&T and advanced blueprint reading
  • Comfortable using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, snap gauges, and bore gauges
  • Strong math skills and mechanical aptitude
  • Detail-oriented, self-driven, and collaborative mindset
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for an 8-hour shift
  • A commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
Why This Role Stands Out
  • Work with modern CNC equipment and challenging, precision parts
  • Be trusted as a technical expert and problem-solver
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Quality—not just “push buttons”
  • Opportunity to make real process improvements that matter

If you’re an experienced CNC professional who enjoys precision work and wants your expertise valued, this is a role worth exploring.
