Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Manufacturing Engineer, Industrial Maintenance
STS Technical Services is hiring Maintenance Technicians in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In this role, you will support machining maintenance in a CNC environment while helping keep production equipment running safely, efficiently, and reliably. This is a hands on maintenance position for technicians with at least two years of CNC machine maintenance experience.
Core Responsibilities- Maintain various CNC machines, powder coating lines, welding cells, and other production equipment
- Maintain asset reliability to a high standard
- Use a CMMS to enable efficient maintenance and repair operations
- Perform equipment lubrication, filter changes, and standard preventative maintenance
- Troubleshoot equipment in machine breakdown situations
- Identify and report any faults or damage to machines, guarding, or tooling
- Work closely with machine operators to identify potential issues prior to failure
- Utilize safe work practices at all times
- Manufacturing experience
- Able to read blueprints and schematics
- Able to troubleshoot and problem solve
- Highly motivated and dependable
- Able to communicate and work well with others
- Must pass a competency test and pre employment physical, including drug screen
- Two or more years of experience with machine maintenance in a CNC environment
- Previous experience in sheet metal fabrication is a plus
- Experience troubleshooting, dismantling, and repairing a variety of machinery, including CNC equipment
- Strong background in mechanical and electrical maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret a variety of blueprints, schematics, and documentation
