Position Title: Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift

Wage: $37.00 - $50.00/hour

Hours: 6:00am - 2:30pm

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled, preventative, and emergency maintenance and repairs on a variety of chemical co-packing and facility equipment
- Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, repair and maintenance on all production machinery, including rotary and inline filling machines
- Diagnose and repair various types of pumps
- Maintain and repair motors, gearboxes, and power transmission systems
- Conduct maintenance on tanks, agitation systems, and associated piping/delivery systems for raw materials and finished products
- Troubleshoot and maintain packaging equipment such as steam and heat tunnels and box erectors
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including high and low voltage power distribution
- Interface with and troubleshoot issues related to PLCs and HMls (Human-Machine Interfaces) to resolve machine faults and optimize performance
- Work with industrial control devices, sensors, proximity switches, and vision systems
- Execute a rigorous preventative maintenance program, performing inspections, lubrication, and adjustments to ensure equipment reliability and longevity
- Adhere to all company safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
- Document preventative maintenance and repair activities in the Computerized Maintenance Management System

Requirements for Maintenance Technician:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Vocational/technical school certification or Associate's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology) is strongly preferred
- 3+ years of experience as a maintenance technician or mechanic in a manufacturing environment, preferably in chemical, food, beverage, or pharmaceutical co-packing/processing
- Strong mechanical aptitude with proficiency in hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, pipe fitting and welding is a plus
- Solid knowledge of industrial electrical systems and ability to read electrical schematics
- Proven ability to troubleshoot PLC-controlled machinery and HMI operation
- Familiarity with the maintenance of pumps, seals, valves and fluid transfer systems
