Production Lead

Job Type: Full-time, Onsite, Non-Exempt

Wage: $20-24 / hr

JES Lighting is looking for a detail-oriented, self-motivated leader to add to the team. An ideal candidate is excited to learn, adapt, and take on responsibilities with pride. As the Production Lead, you will be responsible for executing the production schedule and overseeing the success of a growing production team. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Receiving raw materials
• Managing and maintaining inventory
• Assembling components and circuitry
• Using hand tools and power tools
• Performing quality checks
• Completing and maintaining technical documentation
• Packaging product for safe shipment
• Upkeeping and organizing work spaces
• Maintain a safe working environment
• Encouraging a people-first work culture
• Instructing and training new employees

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred
• Able to perform basic math and arithmetic
• Able to correctly use and read a tape measure
• Able to stand for extended periods of time
• Routinely able to lift and move up to 20 lbs
• Occasionally able to lift and move up to 50 lbs with assistance
• Manual dexterity to perform basic assembly tasks
• Proficient in the English language
• Ability to sufficiently carry out detailed written and/or oral instructions.
• Able to work independently and in team settings
• Strong moral character consisting of integrity
• Computer experience preferred
