Milwaukee Electronics is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager with strong Test Engineering experience to lead engineering teams supporting electronics manufacturing operations.

In this role, you will lead cross‑functional teams responsible for production test systems, manufacturing processes, product ramp, and equipment reliability within a high‑mix electronics manufacturing environment.

This is a hands‑on engineering leadership role overseeing Test Engineering, NPI Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and Maintenance teams, focused on improving manufacturing performance, strengthening production test capabilities, and supporting successful product launches.

  • Test Engineers – production test systems, fixtures, diagnostics, and programming
  • NPI Engineers – transitioning products from prototype to stable production
  • Manufacturing Engineers – manufacturing processes, tooling, and workflow optimization
  • Maintenance Technicians – production equipment reliability and facility systems
Role Summary
  • Lead and develop engineering teams supporting manufacturing operations
  • Drive improvements in production test systems, diagnostics, and manufacturing yield
  • Support successful new product introductions and production ramp readiness
  • Improve manufacturing processes, throughput, and operational efficiency
  • Partner with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to resolve complex manufacturing challenges
  • Support equipment reliability and preventative maintenance programs
  • Analyze production and test data to identify improvement opportunities
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance quality, efficiency, and delivery performance
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing environments
  • 3+ years of engineering leadership experience managing technical teams
  • Strong experience with production test engineering, functional test systems, or test fixtures
  • Experience supporting new product introductions and production ramp activities
  • Solid understanding of electronics manufacturing processes (SMT, assembly, and production test)
  • Strong problem‑solving and cross‑functional leadership skills

Experience in electronics manufacturing services (EMS) environments is helpful but not required.
