Iron Foundry Operator - Herman Pattern Hauler/Clean up SH3 SK2

Location:

Onsite – Kohler, WI

Compensation: $26.55 per hour, plus $1.50 shift premium.

Shift: 3rd Shift, 9:00PM – 5:18AM, plus overtime. Occasional mandatory overtime may be required as needed.

We are looking for a qualified candidate to join our Cast Iron division.

• Perform all jobs on the Herman Line to provide relief and to train new associates.
• Check changes and maintain day codes on all patterns.
• Check Sprue Formers go/no‑go gauge before and after pattern changes.
• Deliver patterns to and from pattern storage area.
• Operate core setting robot.
• Perform pattern changes.
• Operate hoist and crane, perform safety check sheet and OPM list.
• Deliver core and change core in the robot core setting area.
• Operate PIV and perform checklist.
• Communicate with operator and supervisor on pattern changes.
• Inspect patterns and carriers when installing and removing patterns from the machine; tag patterns appropriately.
• Operate slag auto‑pour furnace as required daily.
• Attend tier‑one meetings.
• Clean all areas as required.
• Wear required PPE.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout and confined-space rules (training required).

• Must be able to work in the US without restriction or sponsorship.
• Effective communication skills for manufacturing production processes.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Physical capability to perform essential duties, including bending, lifting, and pushing weight.
• Successful completion of drug screen and background check.
• Reliability: consistent attendance and work performance.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year manufacturing, industrial, or warehouse experience.
