Our client, a well‑established and evolving manufacturing organization in the Milwaukee area, is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Manager to help lead a critical phase of operational growth, transformation, and leadership development within its manufacturing operation. This position offers the opportunity to step into a visible leadership role where the right individual can make a meaningful impact across operations, culture, team development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
The organization is actively investing in its manufacturing operations through new equipment, process improvements, automation initiatives, layout redesign efforts, and broader operational modernization projects. Leadership is seeking someone who wants to be part of building and driving that next chapter rather than simply maintaining the status quo.

- Support ongoing continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives
- Help improve throughput, labor utilization, productivity, and operational flow
- Coach and develop frontline leadership while strengthening overall team engagement
- Support operational transformation efforts tied to process flow, equipment investments, automation, and future‑state manufacturing initiatives
- Manufacturing, operations, or production leadership experience within a fast‑paced, high‑volume, multi‑process manufacturing environment
- Experience leading supervisors and hourly production teams
- Strong floor leadership presence with the ability to drive accountability and results
- Continuous improvement mindset with exposure to Lean, CI, root cause analysis, or operational excellence initiatives
- Strong communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
- Comfortable operating in a dynamic environment undergoing operational change and modernization
- Automotive, industrial manufacturing, metals, machining, stamping, casting, or similarly complex manufacturing experience
- Union manufacturing exposure
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
