Bakery Technical Trainer

We are looking for a Bakery Technical Trainer to support the development of our manufacturing workforce by delivering impactful training programs, improving technical capabilities, and partnering cross-functionally to enhance performance across our bakery operations.

Where you’ll work…

Located in Milwaukee’s Menomonee River Valley, Villa Palermo is a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility connected to our corporate headquarters.

Our operations include:

  • Advanced processing and packaging lines
  • 24/7 production and distribution environment
What you’ll do…
  • Deliver hands-on training to bakery employees across all levels, including operators, leads, and associates
  • Develop and update training materials, programs, and visual learning tools
  • Coordinate and schedule training sessions using the learning management system
  • Track training progress, completion rates, and key performance metrics
  • Support onboarding and continuous development of employees across all shifts
  • Partner with Operations, R&D, QA, Engineering, and Maintenance on training needs and initiatives
  • Create videos and training aids to improve understanding and reduce downtime
  • Evaluate employee skill levels and provide feedback to leadership
  • Support process improvements, line trials, and operational changes
  • Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement
What You Bring…
  • 3–5 years of experience in a training or supervisory role within manufacturing (food manufacturing preferred)
  • Experience working in BRC or SQF-certified environments (USDA experience a plus)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to understand equipment and processes
  • Experience using learning management systems or training technologies
  • Ability to train, coach, and develop employees at all levels
  • Strong communication, organization, and presentation skills
  • Ability to adapt and problem-solve in a fast-paced production environment
  • Bilingual skills are a plus
