Material Handler

Position Title:

Material Handler

Wage: $18.00 - $21.00/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 5:00am - 1:00pm, 12:30pm - 8:30pm or 8:30pm - 5:00am

Location: St. Francis, WI

• Load and unload trailers as assigned using appropriate equipment and safety procedures
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against shipping documents
• Supply raw materials and components to packaging and production work centers
• Transport materials between warehouse and production areas
• Prepare finished products for shipment, including shrink wrapping, proper pallet orientation, and accurate pallet labeling
• Ensure proper storage and organization of materials in designated warehouse locations
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts as needed
• Follow quality control guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure product safety and quality
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist with other warehouse and production-related duties as assigned

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Previous material handling or manufacturing experience (preferred)
• Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks (certification preferred or willingness to obtain)
• Consistent work history in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the shift
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
