Lean Manufacturing Engineer (Continuous Improvement Focus)

About the Role

This position focuses on lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives within an industrial production environment.

You’ll work closely with plant leadership and production teams to:

  • Improve efficiency, quality, and throughput
  • Analyze and optimize workflows
  • Drive measurable improvements on the floor
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Analyze manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, cost, and efficiency
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Improve workflow, labor utilization, and plant layout
  • Use data and systems (MES/ERP) to support decision-making
  • Partner with operations and production teams to implement changes
  • Support quality and environmental standards (ISO/IATF)
What They’re Looking For
  • ~2+ years of experience in manufacturing, industrial, or process engineering
  • Exposure to lean manufacturing / continuous improvement principles
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively on the production floor and collaborate cross-functionally
  • Project management experience or exposure is a plus
  • Six Sigma / Lean certification (preferred, not required)
