Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer to support manufacturing operations and continuous improvement initiatives within a high-volume advanced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience optimizing production processes, improving plant efficiency, reducing manufacturing costs, and supporting Industry 4.0 initiatives.

The Industrial Engineer will work closely with Manufacturing, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to drive operational excellence and improve throughput across production facilities.

Required Experience
  • 5+ years of Industrial Engineering experience in manufacturing environments
  • Experience supporting Automotive, Heavy Equipment, Industrial Machinery, Aerospace, or Advanced Manufacturing organizations
  • Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles
  • Experience with Value Stream Mapping (VSM)
  • Experience conducting Time Studies and Motion Studies
  • Experience performing Line Balancing and Capacity Planning
  • Knowledge of OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)
  • Experience improving manufacturing throughput and reducing bottlenecks
  • Experience supporting Continuous Improvement and Kaizen initiatives
  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
Preferred Experience
  • Automotive manufacturing experience
  • Experience with EV manufacturing programs
  • Experience with assembly operations
  • Smart Factory / Industry 4.0 initiatives
  • Robotics and Automation exposure
  • MES implementation or optimization experience
  • Digital Manufacturing initiatives
Responsibilities
  • Analyze manufacturing processes and identify improvement opportunities
  • Conduct workflow analysis and process optimization studies
  • Perform labor utilization and capacity planning assessments
  • Develop and implement line balancing strategies
  • Support plant layout optimization and facility planning initiatives
  • Drive Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement programs
  • Monitor and improve OEE, throughput, cycle time, and productivity metrics
  • Support automation and manufacturing modernization projects
  • Collaborate with production teams to reduce waste and improve operational efficiency
  • Create and maintain manufacturing process documentation
