** Job Summary
** As a Material Handler, for our Outside Transportation, at Caterpillar South Milwaukee, you will play a critical role in supporting production and logistics operations. This position is responsible for safely receiving, staging, loading, and transporting materials while ensuring accuracy in documentation and inventory processes. You will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment focused on safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

This position will work in our Saint Francis, Wisconsin warehouse location near our South Milwaukee facility.###
** Key Responsibilities
*** Perform shipping and receiving activities including unloading/loading trucks, verifying materials, and preparing shipments.
* Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, stage, and deliver materials.
* Read and verify Bills of Lading, packing lists, and receiving documents to ensure accuracy.
* Load trucks using forklifts while ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
* Complete inventory transactions and support cycle counts to maintain accuracy.
* Identify and resolve material discrepancies and escalate issues as needed.
* Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment following all safety standards and 5S practices.
* Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency and workflow.###
** Required Qualifications
*** Minimum of
** 2 years of shipping and/or receiving experience**.
* Minimum of
** 2 years of forklift experience**.
* Ability to
** read and understand Bills of Lading, packing lists, and receiving documentation**.###
** Preferred Qualifications**
* ** 5+ years of forklift experience**.
* Experience operating
** large-capacity forklifts (20,000+ lbs)**.
* Minimum of
** 2 years of inventory experience**.
* Minimum of
** 2 years of experience loading trucks using a forklift
*** Experience working in environments involving or supporting
** locomotive operations.
