As a Production I Materials Associate in the Milwaukee Facility, you will support all departments (plant and administration) by maintaining safe work habits and keeping work areas clean. Your work will be reviewed for quality and final inspection in accordance with Badger Meter’s quality management system.

• Packer
  :
  Fill customer parts orders from floor stock; shuttles stock; replenish per service parts shortage report; process inventory transactions; print and review release reports; prepare and pack orders accurately; pack parts into cartons; maintain carton stock; process courier packages; operate hot stamping and engraving machines.
• Store Keeper
  :
  Move materials using hand tools, power trucks, and hoists; locate, select, and issue materials to departments; receive, count, weigh, record, and print ; perform inventory transactions; conduct cycle counts and quarterly audits; load and unload trucks, pallets, and trays; consolidate inventory and fulfill pick lists.
• Shipping/Receiving
  :
  Move product across the plant with power trucks; receive, identify, inspect, and enter incoming materials into the inventory system; deliver materials to production and support; prepare outgoing shipments; load and unload truck shipments; verify incoming products from other Badger Meter facilities.

High School Degree or GED preferred; 0–1 year of related experience preferred.

• Basic ability to read and understand customer orders.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to pass internal forklift and hazmat training if applicable.
• Basic math skills.
• Able to read, write, and speak English.

Manufacturing environment; personal protective equipment required; ability to lift up to 60 pounds; must pass audiogram test.
