The Production Operator – Blender is responsible for conducting paint drawdowns, preparing and blending customer orders to meet their specifications, documenting work orders and formulas, and maintaining all color-matching and mixing equipment.

6125 W. Douglas Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53218
Schedule:
Full‑time, Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm (seasonal not available)
Compensation: $20.59 – $26.71 hourly
Job duties include contact with other employees, operating heavy machinery, and access to proprietary information, raw materials, finished merchandise, and other items of value. The company requires a review of criminal history to protect operations and personnel safety.
Key Duties- Prepare customer orders, including blending, adjusting, filling, and labeling batches
- Operate tinting and mixing equipment and material handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Make shade and gloss adjustments to meet customer requirements
- Ensure customers’ quality and service expectations are met
- Perform inventory controls and maintain quality standards
- Keep tools, equipment, and work environment clean and organized daily
- Maintain production records and reporting as required
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures, including safety, loss prevention, and security
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for an employment work visa now or in the future
- Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English
- Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 100 lbs. on occasion
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least one year of experience mixing or blending raw materials and making a product in an industrial batch process
- At least one year of experience using material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, order pickers, etc.)
- At least one year of experience monitoring gauges, dials, or other machinery indicators to ensure proper operation of machinery
- At least one year of experience monitoring the quality of raw materials and/or finished goods
- At least one year of experience operating machinery in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment
- Prior experience operating tinting or color‑matching equipment
