Senior Manufacturing Engineer (Lean / Continuous Improvement Focus)

About the Role

This role focuses on leading continuous improvement and process optimization efforts within a clean manufacturing environment.

You’ll work cross‑functionally with plant leadership, engineering, and production teams to:

  • Drive performance improvements
  • Lead projects
  • Mentor less experienced engineers
  • Connect engineering work to real operational and business outcomes
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations
  • Analyze complex production data to drive process and performance improvements
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Drive workflow, labor utilization, and process optimization efforts
  • Lead or support equipment implementation and process changes
  • Mentor and support junior engineers
  • Partner with leadership to align projects with operational and business goals
  • Apply Lean / Six Sigma methodologies to improve safety, quality, and throughput
What They’re Looking For
  • ~8+ years of experience in manufacturing, process, or industrial engineering
  • Strong experience with Lean manufacturing / continuous improvement
  • Proven ability to lead projects and influence outcomes
  • Experience working in a hands‑on manufacturing environment
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Experience with plastics or injection molding is a plus
