Manufacturing Applications Specialist

Position Summary

The Manufacturing Applications Specialist is responsible for creating production ready print files, develop and maintaining Sign Builder user manual, as well as collaborating with various departments including graphic design, manufacturing, and the MSI technology group.

• Create and maintain Sign Builder Database for graphics and custom layouts.
• Develop Sign Builder templates within MSI manufacturing databases that will allow the print files to be print ready for production processes.
• Collaborate with manufacturing department on orders that are 'pain points' and assist in file creation/development.
• Create MSI User Manual for Sign Builder application which will be utilized in all global manufacturing facilities.
• Once developed, the Manufacturing Applications Specialist will be responsible for updating and maintaining Sign Builder User Manual per technology release.
• Effectively collaborate with others such as Manufacturing, Graphic Design and MSTG to aid in development testing of new application releases, as well as utilize knowledge of Sign Builder and application processes to offer continuous improvement suggestions to ensure manufacturing synergy.
• Responsible for timely and accurate project completion.
• Responsible for storing and maintaining Sign Builder design files according to established retention criteria.
• Fully understands MSI products, and procedures.

There is a minimal risk of injury. Work hours are generally during normal business hours and average at least 40 hours a week. May require additional hours if workload deems it necessary. Consistent and regular attendance required.

• At least 3-5 years prior experience with MSI-Sign Builder application
• Proficient in software programs including Microsoft 360, Adobe Illustrator, Gerber Omega
