Mechanical Assembler
To work with lead on projects and take direction well. Help with the process of each project to ensure complete and on time delivery to the customer with the highest quality. Knowledge of correct assembly practices is crucial to the build of projects.
Required:
- Requires knowledge of both or either/or mechanical and electrical assembly. Must be experienced in automation and manufacturing environments.
- Close attention to detail is essential
- Good organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to multi-task and remain flexible at all times.
- Must be able to read mechanical and electrical prints.
- Must be a good team player
- Work overtime as needed to get the job done on time and accurate
Job Responsibilities:
- Build, integrate, and commission machines with the highest level of craftsmanship prior to runoff and ship dates.
- Skilled in all facets of machine building including mechanical, electrical, pneumatics, and hydraulic assembly. Being able to handle heavy workloads and multi-tasking multiple projects.
- Welding knowledge or automation experience is used to help the build process and debug of each machine.
- Able to handle and work on heavy machinery and knowledge on placement or handling of robots, welders, conveyors, and other machinery components.
- Requires some lifting up to 50lbs and pushing, pulling, drilling. Non repetitive.
- Crane is used for any item weighing over 50lbs.
- Communicate daily with your lead, machinist, and engineers as needed on project status
- Make sure that you are following customer specifications and using correct assembly practices. Including following all OSHA and safety practices.
Pay Range: $20/hr.
- $30/hr.
