A rapidly growing, privately held manufacturer is looking to add a Manufacturing Engineer to their team in Waukesha County. This is a high-impact, hands‑on role where you’ll drive process improvements, support automation initiatives, and play a key role in scaling operations within a fast‑growing division.

What You’ll Be Doing- Design and improve manufacturing processes, workflows, and assembly methods
- Develop fixtures, tooling, and gages to support production efficiency
- Lead and support automation initiatives (equipment selection, process improvements)
- Partner with engineering to optimize designs for manufacturability (DFM)
- Drive lean and continuous improvement projects
- Optimize labor, workflow, and plant layout
- Support quality initiatives and production troubleshooting
- 5–10+ years in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering
- Strong understanding of mechanical drawings and processes
- Experience with fixture/tooling design and process improvement
- Hands‑on background in assembly, machining, fabrication, or welding environments
- CAD experience (Solid Works or similar)
- Self‑directed, problem solver who thrives in a hands‑on environment
