Job Description & How to Apply Below

Build, Improve, and Make an Impact in a Growing Manufacturing Environment

A rapidly growing, privately held manufacturer is looking to add a Manufacturing Engineer to their team in Waukesha County. This is a high-impact, hands‑on role where you’ll drive process improvements, support automation initiatives, and play a key role in scaling operations within a fast‑growing division.

If you enjoy designing solutions, improving how things are built, and working in an environment where your ideas are actually implemented—this is a strong opportunity to step into.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Design and improve manufacturing processes, workflows, and assembly methods
  • Develop fixtures, tooling, and gages to support production efficiency
  • Lead and support automation initiatives (equipment selection, process improvements)
  • Partner with engineering to optimize designs for manufacturability (DFM)
  • Drive lean and continuous improvement projects
  • Optimize labor, workflow, and plant layout
  • Support quality initiatives and production troubleshooting
What They’re Looking For
  • 5–10+ years in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering
  • Strong understanding of mechanical drawings and processes
  • Experience with fixture/tooling design and process improvement
  • Hands‑on background in assembly, machining, fabrication, or welding environments
  • CAD experience (Solid Works or similar)
  • Self‑directed, problem solver who thrives in a hands‑on environment
Why This Opportunity Stands Out
  • High‑growth division with significant investment and expansion plans
  • Opportunity to take ownership of automation and process improvements
  • Collaborative,
non‑corporate environment with strong leadership support
  • Direct impact on production efficiency and overall operations
  • Knowledge transfer opportunity from an experienced engineer prior to retirement
  • Quarterly bonus program (historically consistent and strong payouts)
  • 401K with company contributions + profit sharing
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • PTO, holidays, and additional perks
Who This Role Fits Best

This role is ideal for a hands‑on Manufacturing Engineer who enjoys being on the floor, solving real‑world problems, and driving improvements in a growing production environment—not sitting behind a desk all day.
