Glass Production Operator - Skill 1
Location:
Onsite – Kohler, WI.
Competitive Compensation:
Starting at $25.77 per hour, plus $1.50 per hour shift premium, with overtime and occasional mandatory overtime as needed.
Shift: 3rd Shift, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM, plus overtime. Weekend work rotates monthly under a schedule set at the beginning of the year.
Responsibilities- Learn all jobs in the department and operate a forklift.
- Make glass and mill it into powder for use in the enameling areas.
- Move bulk bags of frit to and from inventory, load material into the batching system, prepare ground coat slurry, and prepare white and colored enamel powders for the enameling areas.
- Stand for most of the day and work independently on most jobs.
- Wear a respirator as part of the job and be clean‑shaven at all times.
- Perform frequent bending and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Climb stairs in a 4‑story building to reach various job locations.

- At least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ year of manufacturing, industrial, or warehouse experience.
- Physical capability to perform essential duties, including bending, lifting, and pushing weight.
- Successful completion of a drug screen and background check.
- Consistent attendance and work performance.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures.
