I'm partnering with a desirable manufacturer in the Milwaukee area to identify a Lean Manufacturing Engineer who enjoys being on the manufacturing floor and making a visible impact on operations.
This is not a desk engineering role. You'll work closely with plant leadership and production teams to improve efficiency, reduce waste, optimize workflows, and support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facility. Candidates with manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, continuous improvement, process engineering, or Lean backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
Key Areas of Focus- Process improvement and workflow optimization
- Root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Labor utilization and operational efficiency improvements
- Manufacturing process flow analysis
- Cross‑functional collaboration with production and leadership teams
- Continuous improvement initiatives on the manufacturing floor
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 2+ years of engineering experience
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement exposure preferred
- Green Belt certification is a plus
