Job Description Safety Coordinator
Florence, KY
Compensation Includes
- Starting Pay Rate of $20.90 - $31.36/hour
Overview
Assist Safety Supervisor with daily reporting, safety initiatives, and other tasks associated with safety.
Responsibilities
- Organize and input all testing pertaining to Safety and Audits
- Input all GEMBA reporting into spreadsheet for Production and Shipping
- Input all incident tracking for Close Calls, First Aid and TIR’s
- Perform weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly inspections
- Assist Safety Manager with training scheduling
Perform GEMBA walks - Inspect plant floor for close calls
- Update all Safety Boards Follow all applicable food service policies and procedures
- Follow all PPE policies, wearing steel toed shoes, hearing protection, safety glasses, hair nets/beard nets, etc. as required
- Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, and/or 3 to 5 years of work experience in a manufacturing environment
- Three to five years clerical experience preferred
- At least one year experience in a Manufacturing Environment
- Must have reading, math, written and oral communication skills
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point
- Self-motivated, organization skills and is able to multi-task
