Position: Cleanroom Electrical Assembly Specialist (Medical Systems)

We’re MPE—a leader in medical technology design, engineering, and manufacturing. Join our team as an electrical assembly specialist and help build devices that improve patient care. Compensation is $22–$25/hour, based on experience.

Do you thrive in fast-paced, quality-first environments?

Can you read mechanical drawings and follow detailed work instructions?

Are you comfortable using hand/power tools and performing precise quality checks?

What you’ll do Perform wiring, soldering, electrical testing, and sub-assembly for medical devices in a climate- and particulate-controlled area.

Adhere to ESD protocols and ISO Class 5 cleanroom standards when assigned to cleanroom operations.

Use precision torque tools and documented electrical assembly procedures.

Carry out mechanical final assembly and subassemblies on an assembly line as production needs shift.

Verify parts and, as needed, audit fellow assemblers’ work to meet quality requirements.

Follow all safety rules, wear PPE correctly, and support a culture of safety.

Troubleshoot equipment and assembly issues.

Keep a disciplined 6S workstation through consistent housekeeping.

Your background

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent (required).At least 1 year of electrical assembly experience.

Ability to read/interpret mechanical drawings.

Skilled with hand and power tools; diligent about quality checks.

Physical and mental requirements

Frequent tool use; assembling very small components.

Able to read and follow directions.

Close and color vision; reading; lift up to 50 lbs.

Career path Progress to Electrical/Mechanical Assembly Levels Two and Three with formal training and certification.

Each level requires: a minimum of six months of training, Team Lead approval, and completion of prior certifications.

Schedule and pay First

Shift: 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m., Monday–Friday Second

Shift: 2:30 p.m.–11:00 p.m., Monday–Friday Pay: $22–$25/hour Benefits and culture
