Job Overview:We are hiring an experienced CNC Lathe Operator to join PMC’s machine shop. This role involves setup and operation of CNC lathes for precision machining. The ideal candidate will have experience reading blueprints, adjusting tooling offsets, and inspecting work pieces for tight tolerances.
- CNC Lathes: LU-3000, Captain, Multus-TS, LU-3000, Multus SS
- Horizontal Milling:
Makino A71, HX-500 - Mills:
Hurco - Grinders:
Cylindrical Manual Grinder
- Set up and operate CNC lathes to produce custom machine parts.
- Read blueprints and apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
- Perform tooling adjustments and routine maintenance.
- Use precision measurement instruments to inspect parts.
- Troubleshoot and correct deviations in real time.
- Conversational Programmer required
- Proficient in blueprint reading and machining practices.
- Comfortable working in a low‑volume, high‑precision environment.
