Folder Gluer Operator

- 5 AM-5 PM (36 hours per week, overtime available)
- 5 PM-5 AM (36 hours per week, overtime available Monday-Wednesday or Thursday-Saturday)
- 9 PM-5 AM Monday-Friday
- 1 PM-9 PM Monday-Friday (+$2.00 shift premium)
- Performs make‑ready functions.
- Production: activate process, monitor production and adjust machine during production run as required; synchronize machine speed to maximize output.
- Perform and/or arrange for preventative maintenance according to schedule.
- Record router information and information for daily production sheets such as time spent on specific tasks, number of items produced, etc.
- Operators frequently operate and oversee the operation of more than one feeder/gluer operation at one time.
- Occasionally train workers on the Folding and Gluing Machine operations and the feeding and take‑off functions.
- Cross‑train as assigned.
- POWERED EQUIPMENT USED: Folding and gluing machines, automatic sealing equipment, inserters, tape heads, computers, trash compactor, automatic labelers (EAM), and roller‑conveyor table.
- Previous Bobst Expert fold 110, Domino 110, Mistral 110, Masterfold 15 or Domino 90 Folder/Gluer experience preferred (other makes and models will be considered).
- Able to perform work‑related functions requiring addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Read, speak, and understand English sufficient to interpret instructions, job orders, production sheets, and work‑related documents.
- Able to communicate problems and malfunctions to co‑workers and lead/management.
- Familiar with production and processing; understand inputs, outputs, raw materials, waste, quality control, costs, and techniques for maximizing the manufacture and distribution of goods; able to analyze needs and production requirements.
- Troubleshooting experience and skill sufficient to analyze the process, determine causes of operating errors, identify required changes, and generate possible solutions using logic and analysis.
- Candidates MUST be on time and reliable.
- Must be able to lift 10‑15 pounds continuously, up to 50 pounds occasionally throughout the shift.
