Job Title: CNC Machine Operator (Structural Steel Fabrication)

Compensation: $23 - $30/hr (Full Time; First Shift)

Tiello has partnered with a highly reputable Steel Fabricator in the Milwaukee area on their search for a CNC Machine Operator to support structural steel fabrication operations. This organization specializes in structural steel and miscellaneous metals for large-scale commercial and industrial projects and has built a strong reputation for quality, safety, and on-time delivery.

The CNC Machine Operator will be responsible for operating Python and other CNC-controlled steel processing equipment used in the fabrication of structural steel components. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring materials are processed accurately and efficiently to support production schedules.

Project Types: Structural Steel and Miscellaneous Metals

• Operate Python and other CNC steel processing equipment
• Review production schedules and work orders to prioritize workflow
• Load, position, and process structural steel materials
• Verify dimensions and tolerances according to shop drawings and specifications
• Perform routine machine inspections and basic preventative maintenance
• Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot minor operational issues
• Maintain accurate production records and material tracking
• Coordinate with fabrication, welding, and shop personnel to support production flow
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow OSHA and company safety protocols at all times

• 1+ years of CNC machine operating experience in a manufacturing or steel fabrication environment
• Experience operating Python, beam lines, drill lines, or similar steel processing equipment preferred
• Ability to read shop drawings and fabrication documents
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced fabrication environment
• Ability to lift and move materials as needed
• Willingness to work overtime as required
• Ability to pass background/drug screen
• Eligibility to work in the U.S.
