• Review and assign daily work orders for the shift.
• Set up and adjust department equipment and machinery, including all secondary equipment.
• Monitor production/labor reports and ensure an adequate supply of materials.
• Train, supervise, and provide guidance to personnel, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Perform first shot approvals using Q.A. measuring equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the department and perform housekeeping activities.
• Operate equipment as needed and troubleshoot jobs to maintain quality and production standards.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Knowledge of press operations, shop mathematics, and various types of plastic resins and compounds.
• Proficiency in operating a forklift, hoist, and various department equipment.
• Capacity to perform extensive climbing and bending activities.
• Experience in maintaining and cleaning molds, performing SPC and press checks.
