Manufacturing Operations Manager
Badger Talent Solutions is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Manager for a full-time, on-site opportunity in Milwaukee, WI. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who knows how to drive production, improve processes, and lead teams in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
This position will oversee daily operations for a specialized manufacturing division, with responsibility for output, quality, efficiency, on‑time delivery, continuous improvement, and overall team performance. It’s a strong fit for a manufacturing leader who enjoys balancing people leadership, production planning, process improvement, and accountability for results.

- Build production schedules, manage workflow, and coordinate with internal teams and outside vendors to keep operations running smoothly
- Monitor key metrics related to productivity, scrap, downtime, and efficiency, and implement corrective actions when needed
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on waste reduction, process consistency, and cost control
- Oversee employee performance, training, development, and scheduling while maintaining strong communication across the team
- Support preventive maintenance planning, capital equipment recommendations, and troubleshooting of production issues across multiple operations
- Prior leadership experience in a manufacturing operations, production management, or plant leadership role
- Strong background in production scheduling, process improvement, employee development, and operational problem‑solving
- Experience improving efficiency, reducing scrap, and driving corrective actions in a manufacturing setting
- Ability to work cross‑functionally with maintenance, engineering, and leadership teams
- Strong communication, organizational, and decision‑making skills
- Experience in precision manufacturing, industrial processing, or a technical production environment is highly preferred
