Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to manage daily operations for up to 60 staff members on the plant floor across one to two production lines. This role involves coordinating production activities to ensure optimal output, quality, and efficiency, while adhering to USDA and OSHA guidelines.
Responsibilities- Monitor production to ensure products meet established specifications and quality standards.
- Ensure daily schedule attainment for production lines.
- Manage daily activities of team members, maintaining accurate records of attendance, disciplinary actions, and promotions.
- Ensure proper staffing levels and communicate changes to management, staffing agency, and HR.
- Monitor material usage to prevent over or under usage.
- Complete all production‑related paperwork in compliance with company guidelines, USDA, and BRC policies; prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Train team members on rules, regulations, safety, job expectations, and participate in GMP and CI projects.
- Conduct regular work site reviews to ensure safe and proper work practices.
- Monitor equipment condition and notify maintenance of needed repairs.
- Investigate accidents and prepare necessary reports as per Safety department policies.
- Enforce company, USDA, OSHA, and BRC rules and regulations.
- Assist in securing the building during emergency situations and drills.
- Support and promote all company policies, including maintaining expectations for people and food safety.
- 3+ years of production experience, GMP preferred.
- 2+ years of supervisory experience.
- Ability to set up, operate, and troubleshoot production machines.
- Experience overseeing 30‑60 individuals in production.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong supervisory and production management skills.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
- Experience with safety training.

Work EnvironmentWork the 2nd shift from 2 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with potential Saturday shifts during peak season. The work environment includes varying conditions with a hot bakery area due to ovens and cooler warehouse and packaging areas. Employees are required to wear GMP attire including hair nets, beard nets, hard hats, smocks, and steel‑toed shoes.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Milwaukee, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
