IPC-Certified Assembly Supervisor Day-in-the-life — Milwaukee, WIYour shift begins on the assembly floor, where you set priorities, align resources, and make sure every workstation is ready to hit production goals. You coach your team through the day’s builds, verify that standard work and safety protocols are followed, and remove roadblocks so products leave the line on time and up to spec.

Along the way, you partner closely with Quality and Engineering to troubleshoot issues and keep quality uncompromised.

What you’ll lead Supervise a team of assembly professionals, offering clear direction, hands-on support, and day-to-day coordination.

Organize daily assembly activities to achieve schedule commitments and uphold strict quality standards.

Onboard and train new hires on assembly techniques, safety procedures, and best practices.

Track performance, deliver timely feedback, and conduct formal performance reviews.

Drive continuous improvement to increase efficiency and reduce waste.

Champion safety compliance and 5S, maintaining a clean, orderly work area.

Collaborate with quality control and engineering to resolve assembly-related issues quickly.

Maintain accurate production records and report team performance metrics.

What you bring

High school diploma or equivalent.

IPC Certification REQUIRED.Background in assembly or manufacturing, including 2+ years in a leadership capacity.

Strong knowledge of assembly processes and quality control standards.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and guide a team.

Attention to detail with solid problem-solving capabilities.

Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

Familiarity with manufacturing safety regulations and best practices.
